Dr. Michael Kim
Michael Kim, DDS is a trusted general and preventive dentist in Mequon, Wisconsin, providing comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages. At his Mequon dental practice, Dr. Kim focuses on preventive dentistry, restorative dental treatments, and personalized care designed to help patients achieve healthy smiles, natural-looking teeth, and comfortable bites.
A Mequon native, Dr. Kim graduated from Marquette University High School, Marquette University, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Marquette University School of Dentistry. He began practicing dentistry in Fox Point, WI, and later returned to Mequon to open a state-of-the-art dental office equipped with modern technology to better serve his patients.
Dr. Kim is committed to continuing education in dentistry, allowing him to stay current with the latest techniques, materials, and advancements in general and restorative dental care. He believes strongly in building long-term relationships with patients and takes the time to understand each person’s dental needs, goals, and comfort level.
In addition to providing high-quality dental care, Dr. Kim is active in the Mequon–Thiensville community. He is a member of the Mequon–Thiensville Sunrise Rotary Club and participates annually in the Crown Council’s Smiles for Life program, which raises funds for children’s charities through professional teeth-whitening services.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kim enjoys science fiction, yoga, running, traveling and spending time with his four children and granddaughter.
Dr. Melissa Lentz
Melissa Lentz, DDS is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist dedicated to providing exceptional dental care and outstanding patient experiences. With a strong focus on personalized treatment, Dr. Lentz is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through comprehensive cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Her clinical interests include cosmetic dentistry, dental implant restorations, and orthodontic treatment as an Invisalign® Certified Provider.
Dr. Lentz earned her bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University in Connecticut before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Marquette University School of Dentistry. She has practiced dentistry in the Milwaukee area, where she has gained extensive experience treating patients of all ages, from children to adults and seniors. Her approach emphasizes patient comfort, clear communication, and long-term oral health.
As a published dental researcher, Dr. Lentz is committed to practicing evidence-based dentistry, ensuring that every treatment recommendation is supported by the latest scientific research. She continually advances her clinical expertise through ongoing continuing education, staying current with modern dental technologies, materials, and techniques to provide the highest standard of care.
Dr. Lentz is an active and dedicated member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA), and the Spear Study Club. Her involvement reflects her commitment to professional excellence and ethical dental practice.
Deeply rooted in the local community, Dr. Lentz resides in Mequon with her family. She previously served as a board member of the Junior Women’s Club of Mequon-Thiensville and is proud to give back through volunteer work and as a dentist with Team Smile and Freedom Day, providing care to underserved populations.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Lentz enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. She values building lasting relationships with her patients and strives to create a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable and confident in their dental care.
